Ginger Snaps

This is, in my opinion, the best painting I have done so far. This was created for the Senior Exhibit that took place last month. Took me about 3 weeks to do mostly because the oil paint took FOREVER to dry. The pose is based off a Corinne Bailey Rae pic. I loved messing around with the hair and no its not Medusa hair XD (a lot of people asked about that at the exhibit) I just wanted to try a different style then i usually do. Strong contrast, swirly abstract hair and luscious lips XD. No real meaning behind this painting but if you see something please feel free to comment on it . O and the title isn't official I just thought her hair reminded me of ginger snaps because of the color. Officially it's still untitled. Enjoy
