Finally i'm done! This is for a friend of but man a whole lot of procrastination went into this peace XD...i even had to start over a couple of times...this was supposed to be mother earth but it ended up being a dryad...i still had the earth eyes so i decided to call it mother dryad...like the queen of dryads? this could have been so much better if i could actually find a good tutorial for some of the things i didn't know how to do...plus i didn't want to keep my friend waiting for too long...anyway hope you guys like :-)...o and last but not least a big thanks to the people who had the wonderful stock! awesome!

There are 1,000 dryads, nymphs, and a coupla others in Greek Mythology. All of them are the daughters of Poseidon, and each separate grouping dictates a certain thing. Dryads are of the sea, nymphs are of the earth. There's also groups for rivers, mountains, the ocean (different from the sea) and forest. But nowhere does it say exactly who the mother(s) is/are. I suppose this girl could be counted as the mother of them all, though I imagine her thighs must be huge after birthing 1,000 daughters. :XD:

Neato, except that her eyes are kinda far apart. I don't suppose you could make her look less. . .googly-eyed? ^^;

they are of the sea? really? i thought they were nymphs to begin with but o well...yeah i can't change it because i saved it AFTER i saw that it was far apart (the pupils)i was like all zoomed in on one eye and then to the other so i didn't notice ^^;...guess i should have just used her regular pupils...*sigh*

Or you could've done what I do: routinely zoom out very far to compare. Artists who use easels (painters mainly) do this by backing up and looking at it from a distance, and guess what? It actually helps! :wow: Totally surprised me, I'll tellyawhut. =P

lol ironically i know about that technique (had drawing and painting this semester) but for some reason i didn't use it here..until after ze eyes *fail*
